From your WebTV home page, select Setup
from the sidebar.

In Setup, select Dialing, click Done.
|
|
If you do not have the Use your ISP option,
contact Customer Care at 1-800-GO-WEBTV to activate OpenISP.

Read the information about OpenISP, select Use
your ISP, , click Done.
|
|
Read information about OpenISP, and click Done.
|
|
Continue reading, and click Done.
|
|
Continue reading, and click Done.
|
|
Click the checkbox to activate OpenISP.
|
|
Enter Country I Link as your Service
provider name.
|
|
Enter your Country I Link username in
the Login name blank and your Country
I Link password in the Password blank.
Make sure that you enter both in all lower case letters.
|
|
Enter the local Country I Link access
number, which can be found in our 'Local
Access Number' section , in the Modem dial-in
number blank.
|
|
Click Done.
|
|
WebTV hangs up and reconnects. Read the information screen and select Use
ISP.
|
|
Internet terminal connects to the WebTV Network. A confirmation screen
will summarize your choice and provide you with the option to use your own
ISP or use WebTV. Selecting Use your ISP will
cause the WebTV Internet Terminal to redial using your ISP.
