Terms of Service AgreementCountry I Link's goal is to provide the best Internet service for our members. These policies were written to keep the Internet useful for all our members. Violations of these policies may result in suspension or cancellation of Country I Link services. Country I Link does not monitor or control content of any personal web site, commercial web site, email, mailing list, newsgroup, or other accessible information from the Internet through Country I Link. Country I Link does reserve the right in sole discretion to remove any materials that are potentially illegal, could subject Country I Link to liability, or violate these policies. By establishing an account with Country I Link, or using Country I Link's Internet access services, you agree to be bound by this agreement and to use the services in accordance with the terms herein.
Acceptable Use PolicyCountry I Link's goal is provide the best service and affordable pricing for all of our members. We offer our dial-up customers un-metered internet access. Our policy of 'Un-metered Internet Access' means that you may use your connection as much as you would like without incurring any per hour charges. However, It is not intended to be run as an 'open connection' 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Usage that exceeds an average of 10 hours per day is considered a full-time or business connection and can result in additional charges.Standard dial-up accounts are not
dedicated dial-up connections and we expect our customers to use consideration
in the number of hours they spend online with their standard dial-up service.
All standard dial-up accounts are subject to an automatic 6 hour session timeout
and 20 minute idle timeouts. In those cases where subscribers run a server, need
a continuous connection, or have a number of computers connected to the Internet
through a modem sharing router that is always on, we require they upgrade their
account to one of our dedicated service plans if they expect their monthly usage
to exceed 300 hours (rolling 30-Day Average). We reserve the right to upgrade
the accounts of any customers that we feel are using our standard dial-up
connections as dedicated connections. We also reserve the right to suspend any
account in violation of this policy until their 30-day average falls below the
300 hour mark. These standard home and small business accounts are intended for
use by the account holder on only one computer at a time. If two or more
simultaneous modem sessions are required please inquire about our special
dual-dial plans.

Use of any software or devices (created now or in the future) that would allow your account to stay connected while you are not actively using Country I-Link services is strictly prohibited. Examples include running chat software that will rotate advertisements and ping your connection to stay active, allowing email programs to run and check email frequently to maintain a connection, and any other ping utilities or software that will maintain your connection when you are not actively using it. | |
Using personal, non-commercial web space to conduct a business or advertise a commercial business or displaying any material of an "adult" nature. | |
Using multiple simultaneous connections with the same username and password. | |
Sharing of internet accounts/passwords that are meant solely for the use an an individual member | |
Using Country I-Link services to for illegal or disruptive purposes or in support of such activities. Country I-Link reserves the right to cooperate with legal authorities in the investigation of any suspected crime or civil wrong. | |
Unauthorized copying or distribution of copyrighted material or software. | |
Sending Unsolicited Commercial E-Mail | |
Threats of violence, destruction, or bodily harm against any individuals or groups. | |
Attempting to access other user accounts, penetrating Country I Link computer systems ('hacking'), or violating our security measures. | |
Harassing others by 'mail-bombing' (sending more than 10 similar mail messages to the same email address. | |
Knowingly distributing computer viruses to, from , or through Country I Link servers. |
