MANDRAKE-LINUX Connection InstructionsGiven the literally hundreds of distributions, we can not guarantee or recommend what's below will work on your system. However, we would suspect that the Redhat, Corel, Caldera, and Debian distributions work pretty much the same. We prefer to use KDE as our primary desktop, but GNOME follows pretty much the same interface and settings.Logon to your computer normally, you do not have to be /root.Your desktop should have a link labeled "internet". Open it. If not, use the Kppp tool found under the networking tab in the start menu.Start kppp from your K menu, where you will find its entry in the Internet as Internet Dialler.The following dialog will appear:
The kppp dialer startup screenIt will probably not have any entries to begin with, and that's what we're about to do now.Click the Setup button to begin setting up a new Internet connection.Choose Dialog setup and you'll see the following Dialog appear:
