Windows Setup Instructions

Download 1Dial Web Accelerator:

1. Click on the following link to begin the download of the 1Dial Web Accelerator:  1Dial Web Accelerator for PC

2. Choose SAVE the download file when prompted.

It will pop up a window in which you can choose the destination (SAVE IN) and change the name if desired. We recommend choosing the DESKTOP as the destination and not changing the name.

3. Click SAVE and the file with be saved to your DESKTOP.

Install 1Dial Web Accelerator:

1. Double-click the 'Setup' icon on your DESKTOP to initiate the 1Dial Web Accelerator installation.

2. Please follow the simple steps through the installation.

3. The window asking you for USER DETAILS will appear after restarting your computer.

4. At the end of it you will be prompted to restart your computer.  Please click OK to do so.

5. After restart you will notice a round blue globe icon in your system tray (bottom of screen, next to clock).  Moving your mouse over it will tell you '1Dial Web Accelerator is waiting for active Internet connection'.

6. Connect to the Internet and the 1Dial Web Accelerator will prompt you to fill in your user details into the dialogue window.  Please use the same information for username/password as you do to connect to Country I Link!  Both username and password are case sensitive!

7. DONE

From then on the 1Dial Web Accelerator will work completely in the background and does not require any interaction.

8. Please delete the '1Dial.exe' icon on your desktop. You will not need it again.

Firewalls:

AFTER you have installed 1Dial Web Accelerator:   If you have a firewall on your computer you may wish to go to our support pages and check if your firewall is listed.  If it is not listed then it is very likely that it does not block 1Dial Web Accelerator.
