MAC Setup Instructions
Download/Installation: 1. Click on the following link to obtain the MAC version of our 1Dial Web Accelerator: 1Dial Web Accelerator for MAC OS 10.2+ 2. If prompted, please chose to SAVE the file to your desktop. 3. Once the download has completed, Double-click on the '1DialMAC.dmg' file to start the installation. 4. You may be asked for username and password. These are your Mac username and password, not the 1Dial ones! If you don't have a Mac password leave the field blank. 5. Please follow the steps through the installation. 6. Restart your computer once the installation is completed. After restart, the Blue 1Dial Web globe icon should appear in your DOCK (icon bar). [If the icon is not there please double-click the one in your APPLICATIONS folder.] 1. Click on the blue 1Dial globe icon in your dock to bring the 1Dial window to the foreground. 2. Click on the CONNECTION tab. 3. Clear out everything that is entered in the USERNAME and PASSWORD fields. 4. Enter your 1Dial user details: This will be the same username/password that you use to connect to Country I Link. At last press APPLY. 5. Click on the RED dot in the top left corner of the 1Dial window to close the 1Dial. 6. Start 1Dial again from your APPLICATIONS folder. From now on 1Dial will work in the background and you do not need to interact with it unless you intend to change the settings. 7. Delete the 1DialMAC.dmg installer icon from your desktop.
Firewalls 1. AFTER you installed the 1Dial Web Accelerator: If you have a firewall on your computer you may wish to go to our support pages and check if your firewall is listed. If it is not listed then it is very likely that it does not block 1Dial.
